 With Jay-Z’s former business partner, Damon Dash, at his side, original Dipset member Jim Jones had fun during a recent interview with Complex. At times, it was at the expense of Kanye West.

While Dash claimed that West hasn’t liked Jay-Z since a 2003 concert in Chicago, as previously reported, Jones weighed in on why he thinks that is, all the while throwing some minor shots the producer’s way.

TMZ reports that T-Pain has set forth a list of demands on those wishing to interview him about his new album which is dropping tomorrow.  Here’s what he will and won’t allow:

Please let interviewers know that Pain will only be discussing his album release on 11/11 and any other topics surrounding what he is currently doing.

He will only answer one question on Wayne and upcoming projects they have. No questions on picking favorite artists, who he would like to work with or any other kind of lists.

If you are fun with it that’s fine, and shoot out 5 cool questions relevant to what’s going on in his life cool [sic], otherwise he may he may [sic] get mad.

Katt Williams fans had a delayed Carnegie Hall show last night because at the time that Williams was set to take the stage, he was being bailed out of jail for weapons possession charges.

Cops noticed three guns inside his cars and he spent the majority of Thursday in jail.  After posting $25,000 bail, he made it to his sold-out Carnegie Hall show.

TMZ is reporting that a 15-year-old nephew of R. Kelly was shot last night in a robbery attempt at a barber shop.  Police currently have the boy’s brother in custody for attempted robbery.

According to the police the boy was shot twice by the owner of the barber shop.  He is currently being treated at a Chicago hospital for a chest wound.

A private funeral service was held this morning on Chicago’s South Side for Jennifer Hudson’s slain mother, brother, and nephew.  The private services follow a public memorial service that was held on Sunday.

No one has still been charged with the murders, although Chicago police are calling the boy’s estranged step-father a “person of interest.”

In other Hudson news, TMZ is reporting that Hudson has still not been able to go near the murder scene.

TMZ is reporting that Lyfe Jennings was arrested by police in Smyrna, GA for firing off a weapon, leading police on a chase in his Corvette, and refusing a DUI test.

Here’s what TMZ has to say:

Smyrna, Ga. police tell us they were responding to a gunshots fired call when they spotted Jennings’ Vette hightailing it away from the scene. A chase ensued and Jennings eventually crashed. He was charged with felony weapon possession by a convicted felon. and he faces charges of attempting to elude, as well as discharging a firearm near a public highway and refusing to take the sobriety test.

Lyfe — real name Chester — was in prison from 1992-2002 after being convicted of arson.

Lil Wayne told the crowd at the BET Hip-Hop Awards Saturday night “I got a son dropping any day, pray for me.” He let it be known as he was accepting the award for Lyricist of the Year.

Who’s the mother?  Nivea, who he has been linked to, was supposedly appearing somewhat pregnant at the awards.  To add even more fuel to the rumor mill, Lil Wayne also appeared to be wearing a wedding ring at the awards.

After a long silence on the matter, Beyonce is coming out in the November issue of Essence magazine discussing the paparazzi, the wedding, the engagement ring, and Jay-Z.

Beyonce tells Essence, “What Jay and I have is real. It’s not about the interviews or getting the right photo op. It’s real.”

She also discusses her career, revealing, “I want to be acknowledged as a woman in a very talented group with great harmonies and great songs that made history and changed the culture of women, not only in America but all over the world. A woman who could sing a cappella and write her own songs and produce her own songs.”
