Four years after Janet Jackson’s right breast found itself  popping out in front of an entire Super Bowl television audience, the courtroom drama is finally over.

According to E!, a federal appeals court threw out the $550,000 indecency fine against CBS Corp. heavily lead by watchdog group the Parents Television Council.

During the 2004 performance with Justin Timberlake, Janet’s boob – with a star shaped pasty covering her nipple — was flashed to 90 million viewers as Justin sang, “Gonna have you naked by the end of this song.”

He later famously referred to the incident as a “wardrobe malfunction,” but the FCC didn’t buy it and hit the network and its affiliates with the huge fine.

A three-judge panel overturned the fine though, saying the FCC had overreacted and ignored its 30-year practice of only fining for indecent programming that is “pervasive as to amount to ’shock treatment’ for the audience.”

The Parents Television Council is infuriated by the decision.

“While we are not surprised that the legal venue hand-picked by CBS would rule in favor of the network, the court’s opinion goes beyond judicial activism; it borders on judicial stupidity,” said Tim Winter, president of the PTC. “If a striptease during the Super Bowl in front of 90 million people— including millions of children—doesn’t fit the parameters of broadcast indecency, then what does?”

Despite his own denial, which you can witness here, it turns out Rick Ross WAS in fact an officer with theFlorida Department of Corrections.

Ross, real name William Leonard Roberts, worked as a prison guard for 18 months beginning in December of 1995 according to website TheSmokingGun.com who received verification of his employment from Jo Ellyn Rackleff, a DoC spokesperson. The rapper’s social security number is identical to that of the jail guard.

DMX was arrested once again this weekend, this time on charges of providing false information to avoid paying for medical charges.

He was picked up at a Phoenix, AZ mall on Saturday and then placed in the Maricopa County Jail. Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio claims the rapper used the name “Troy Jones” and a fake Social Security number to dodge a $7,500 hospital bill last April.

Arpaio told the Associated Press, “He’s back in jail again. I don’t know why judges keep letting this guy out. Every time he goes in there, he gets out on bond.  I’m hoping this is the one time he’s going to pay the penalty for his offense.”

As of now, no bond has been set.

MediaTakeOut.com is reporting that Alicia Keys is pregnant with the child of her rumored lover Swizz Beatz.

According to a source from ‘Alicia Keys inner circle,  “They’re saying that she’s decided to take a year off starting in [the fall] for ‘personal reasons’.” The source allegedly also told the site, “No one has the [guts] to ask about it. We’ll all know soon enough.”

Neither Alicia Keys, Swizz Beatz, or their publicists have confirmed this story.

Rumors have been swirling big time for the past couple of days about an altercation involving Shawty Lo at T.I.’s Club Crucial in Bankhead over the weekend.

The rumors are saying that Shawty Lo’s chain was stolen and that the attack occurred to the soundtrack of T.I.’s What Up, a recently released track which appears to take aim at Shawty Lo.

Shawty Lo (real name Carlos Walker), talked to AllHipHop.com where he denied the story.

“A couple of dudes from my Bowen Homes hood got into it with some other dudes from Bowen Homes,” Shawty Lo explained to AllHipHop.com. “It really wasn’t nothing, just some Bowen Homes sh*t. It wasn’t an altercation with me at all. I didn’t get touched, period. And this had nothing to do with TI.”

There’s been a lot of talk lately about Trick Daddy’s accusations that Rick Ross used to be a prison guard.

The talk on the internet really got heated up when the picture to the left surfaced and people claimed it was Ross.

Well, Ross has now responded to the allegations, as you can see below.

The drama between 50 Cent and Shaniqua Tompkins, the mother of his pre-teen son,  continues.

Tompkins is now trying to get 50 Cent’s lawyer thrown of the case.  According to Tompkins, lawyer Bret Kimmel gave her advice in the past, and she is trying to get him booted on conflict of interest.

She is also trying to make sure that 50 Cent gets know insurance money from the house that she once publicly said he burned down. He denied the allegation and fired back at her with a $20 million defamation lawsuit.  That case is currently pending.

There’s always been plenty of buzz about Will Smith and wife Jada Pinkett Smith’s marriage being an open one. But Will Smith went on record recently with the UK’s Reveal magazine to clear things up.

He said: “Our perspective is, you don’t avoid what’s natural and you’re going to be attracted to people.

“And if it came down to it, then one would say to the other: ‘Look, I need to have sex with somebody. Now, I’m not going to if you don’t approve of it’.”

According to Smith, that openness is what has made their marriage last. “In our marriage vows, we didn’t say ‘forsaking all others’. We said ‘you will never hear I did something afterwards’. Because if that happens the relationship is destroyed.”
