I Will Not Lose, LLC is the latest company going after Jay-Z, accusing him of stealing their logo for his 2007 Rocawear campaign.
CEO Reggie Tucker claims Rocawear used his ‘I Will Not Lose’ trademarked phrase to promote their clothing line internationally without permission.
Legal papers were filed in Georgia Northern District Court on September 18. I Will Not Lose, LLC is suing for an undisclosed amount of damages and seeking the termination of Rocawear’s use of the slogan. The case will more than likely be settled out of court, but will also result in lots of publicity for I Will Not Lose, LLC.
TMZ has reported that Sean Kingston has joined the ranks of those who have lost their chains.
Unlike Yung Berg though, Kingston’s wasn’t snatched from his neck.
The story here is that Kingston’s $500,000 chain was stolen when his sister mailed it to the jeweler. It was sent FedEx, and the package arrived at the jeweler’s a day late and empty. Kingston’s sister had also only insured the package for $500.
The L.A. County Sheriff’s Dept. is now investigating.

Chambers said the fire was put out within 30 minutes, but the pool house, which is larger than most people’s homes, was completely destroyed.
This weekend, LL Cool J posted a blog on his MySpace page placing the blame for the lackluster sales of his new album squarely on the shoulders of Def Jam.
His new album, Exit 13, hit stores last week and has currently sold only 44,000 copies. He was said to be expecting first week sales in the 300,000 range.
A source close to the record label told MSNBC, “LL is furious. He was so angry at one point that he was beaten by Jessica…he actually threatened to quit rap.” A rep for LL later said “he has no plans to quit now,” and that he’s focusing on celebrating his “sixth consecutive top 10 album in his nearly 25 amazing years in music.”
Jessica Simpson’s first country album was also released last week, selling 65,000 copies and coming in at number 4 on the charts, compared to LL’s 9th place ranking.
