Several sources are stating that Shaunie, Shaq’s wife has filed for legal separation. Just last week it was revealed that Shaq had been sending ’scandalos’ emails to his teammates (Gilbert Arenas) fiance. The two were claimed to be having an affair back in March.

Shaunie’s goal is to file for divorce in the future for ‘irreconcilable differences’. Shaq’s lawyer is of course blaming all this on her simply wanting money. Hence her filing in L.A. where it’s 50/50 marital state and has a better chance of getting what she wants. The couple currently reside in Florida with their 4 children who she wants legal custody of.

They have been having issues for a while. Superhead’s book revealed that she slept with Shaq numerous times in her past and their relationship has publicly been on the rocks since then. We’ll keep you updated if more develops on this story.
