CNN anchor Anderson Cooper helps a boy in Haiti that was beaten by looters.

Teddy Pendergrass, one of the most successful R&B singers of the 1970s and ’80s, passed away yesterday after a battle with colon cancer. He was 59. Pendergrass was diagnosed with cancer last year and had a difficult time recovering from surgery; he died at Bryn Mawr Hospital outside of his native Philadelphia.

The rumors are swirling about the name change for Beyonce and Jay-Z. Even though they got married in 2008, it’s just now surfacing that Jay-Z will take on the name Sean Knowles-Carter and Beyonce will be Beyonce Knowles-Carter.

The reasons behind this is because there is no one to carry on the ‘Knowles’ legacy because Beyonce and Solange are the last ones to carry on the name. Neither one has confirmed these allegations so I guess we will have to wait and see!
