CNN anchor Anderson Cooper helps a boy in Haiti that was beaten by looters.

Teddy Pendergrass, one of the most successful R&B singers of the 1970s and ’80s, passed away yesterday after a battle with colon cancer. He was 59. Pendergrass was diagnosed with cancer last year and had a difficult time recovering from surgery; he died at Bryn Mawr Hospital outside of his native Philadelphia.

The rumors are swirling about the name change for Beyonce and Jay-Z. Even though they got married in 2008, it’s just now surfacing that Jay-Z will take on the name Sean Knowles-Carter and Beyonce will be Beyonce Knowles-Carter.

The reasons behind this is because there is no one to carry on the ‘Knowles’ legacy because Beyonce and Solange are the last ones to carry on the name. Neither one has confirmed these allegations so I guess we will have to wait and see!

T.I. was released from an Arkansas prison today.  He had spent seven months in the Forrest City, Arkansas prison after being sentenced for sending his bodyguard out to buy weapons and a silencer in 2007.

He still has 3 months left on his sentence, which he will spend in a halfway house, according to his lawyer.  After the sentence is completed, he will still owe the system 500 hours of community service and 23 days of house arrest.
