All the HOV fans out there have been anticipating the drop of his new album Blueprint 3! Finally Jay-Z came out and said a few words regarding this project.

It has a tenative set release date of September 11, 2009, which is the same day Blueprint 1 dropped in 2001. “Death of Autotune” Jay-Z’s recent street single has helped create buzz around Jay-Z and his up and coming release. More importantly, the new sensation Drake is on Jay’s first official single off Blueprint 3 titled “Off That”.

There has also been speculation about what label Blueprint 3 will drop on… here’s what Jay had to say about that: “Right now, I bought my album back. I overpaid for it,” he noted. “I believe at this point in my career, I wanted to be totally independent and free in what I wanted to do. Def Jam and Universal, they did a beautiful thing in letting me pay. They overcharged me a little bit, but I appreciate all the years they put into my career and all of the hard work I put into what I do. I could never have a record deal. I’m working with Atlantic to distribute the album.”

The hip-hop world is patiently waiting for September 11!

Lil Wayne, Young Jeezy, Soulja Boy and the new and highly anticipated Drake are going on tour this Summer! The tour consists of 21 cities, Drake to open, followed by Soulja Boy, Jeezy then Lil Wayne will end the show. The tour kicks off July 27 in Scranton, PA.

The Young Money Presents: America’s Most Wanted Music Festival is the first major outing for Lil Wayne since his “I Am Music Tour,” which hit a total of 47 arenas.

Tickets will GO FAST & are on sale June 20 via tickmaster or Livenation, so get ready!!

According to TMZ, usher has filed for divorce from his wife of 22 months, Tameka Foster Raymond.

Usher filed the papers and received a hearing after formal office hours yesterday in Atlanta’s Fulton County so as to avoid the media.

The legal papers didn’t file an official reason for the split, but friends have been known to comment that they have been apart for a while now.

The couple has two sons together.  According to court records, the couple is due in court on July 15th to begin proceedings.

Lil’ Wayne is rumored to not only have gotten Lauren London pregnant, but also his on and off girlfriend Nivea. Different sources are claiming various sides of the story, some say Lauren London and Weezy are engaged to be married. Another source claims they do not have plans to establish a relationship or live together.

90210 and Entourage actress Lauren London is supposedly 5 months into her pregnancy. She also claims that Lil’ Wayne was her first and they’ve been best friends for quite some time. She was spotted shopping at Kim Kardashian’s boutique Smooch which carries only baby and toddler clothing.

Rumor has it that Usher and wife of 2 years, Tameka Foster filed for divorce this morning in Atlantia, Georgia. This takes place just 4 months after her cosmetic surgery accident in Brazil where she suffered cardiac arrest.

According to InTouch Magazine, they couple have been living apart for almost a year. They have 2 children together, Usher Raymond V, 18 months, and Naviyd, 6 months.

Sources have claimed they have been having relationship issues in the past, particularly in November 2008 when Usher was spotted flirting with other females at a party in Miami.

At his Las Vegas show Bobby Brown announced to fans in attendance that he is the proud father of a new baby boy! Just a few days old his new son Cassius is Bobby Brown’s fifth child. Brown’s manager/girlfirend Alicia Ethridge is the mother of baby Cassius.

At the Spike TV’s 2009 “Guys Choice” Awards held Saturday May 30 in Los Angeles Halle Berry was honored with the Decade of Hotness Award. The actress wore a sexy black Riller & Fount “Devi” drape front halter mini dress. When Jamie Foxx presented Halle Berry with the award he kissed her on the lips and squeezed her butt! Both walking away with smiles, it appeared as if they both enjoyed it. 

The Chicago Tribune has confirmed that Jennifer Hudson is pregnant.  Rumors had been circulating for the past month or so that Hudson and her husband of a year or so, David Ottunga, were expecting, but it hadn’t been officially verified until recently.

Considering the tragedy that has befallen Hudson’s family in the past several years, a new family member is truly a blessing.
